Dead

Been a long time. I posted the G&G full metal M14 I have on Craigslist yesterday. Airsoft is dead in jersey, at least, I don't have time for it anyway.
I shoot a Canon 7D nowadays.
Until next time.

The Colt MKIV -Series 80-

I bought this off Evike for $180 I believe.  I can't say it's worth the money, but since they screwed up my order by adding the gun I cancelled for free, I can't say that getting two great 1911's for the price of one good one isn't worth it. Otherwise, skip this great, yet pricey gun.

Besides the expense, this gun is rock solid reliable.  30+1 round Hi-cap mag. 315ishFPS (.20g). Full metal, nasty blowback, with adjustable sights. Excellent shooter with genuine and great-looking licensing and trademarks lasered on it.

I have it pictured on top of my Dell laptop, with my Mechanix Impact gloves and my survival (Rambo) knife. hehe.

The same WC receiver, but with a custom Caspian slide (below)
This gun is great.  Based on a Wilson Combat 1911 full metal gas gun, bought from Evike retailing at 150 dollars. Yes, this thing aint cheap at all. I'd say the KJW M9 or 1911 is a better reliable deal for anyone.

The first picture shows a silver slide I sprayed myself, and I must say, I've gotten pretty rusty since the days when I sprayed my PS2 perfectly. wow.  But hey, it looks good from 5 feet away.

The second shows my Wilson Combat receiver, "receiving" the Caspian "5.1" ported slide I ordered.  Sick slide, adds a nice touch to it. Especially with the full length blowback rod.

It's been way too long...

But it doesn't really matter how long I take to post something new...(because secretely, I'm the only one who reads them anyway!)
Anyway, this is the totally awesome and cheap ($78) Type 96 airsoft sniper rifle I bought toward the end of 2008.  450fps, bolt-action, 30rnd magazine, I put a nice rubberized scope on it as well.  The all-steel folding bipod came with it which adds a load of weight to it. The thing is heavy.  Shoots very well, ABS receiver, metal barrel, good paint coat, very durable.  Jammed once due to attempted fast loading. Oops. my bad.  Great gun, definitely worth it.

Available from many companies, but I bought mine as an AGM Type 96 from Evike.com, who rocks.

5out of 5

Pros: High Velocity, Easy To Load, Trademarks, Many Metal Parts, Great Feel, Accurate, Full Metal Clip, Tactical Dot Sights, Locking Slide, Very Heavy Springer

Cons: Small Mag Capacity-12rnd

Best Uses: Practice, Backup Pistol, Target Shooting, Backyard

Describe Yourself: Experienced

I did alot of research and comparison to only find that this SW1911 always came out on top.
I loved just about everything about this gun. It has a lot of metal in it and wieghs in around 1.8lbs. The locking slide is good to let you know when you're dry and the full metal magazine adds alot of weight to it. I especially like the tactical dot sights, which I painted with glow paint, because they work very well and the gun is especially accurate. The 288fps with .2g BB's is excellent for a spring gun. When you're shot with it, you sure feel it. Just make sure to buy an extra mag, as they are only 12 rounds each. And, it's always fun to reload, so buy an extra anyway.

I swapped out the plastic grips for real Colt poly grips with Punisher logos on them.
This gun is awesome.
